7.5 Central Functions and Tasks of RM

The following chart gives an overview on the central functions of Regional Management (RM) that guided us through this one-week seminar. With setting-up Regional Development Concepts (RDC) and action plans, organisational and financial issues were visualized, the central topic of stakeholder participation and the management of regional networks.
Besides practical instruments for project planning, skills development and economic development was part of presentations and discussions as well. For each of the round cards practical answers were given to the question‚ how to orient, how to organise, how to finance regional rural development activities.
