2.1 Conceptual Framework and Mandate

Uwe went on giving an introduction into the conceptual framework of local/regional development strategies. The framework includes the “process”, the “projects” and the “programmes”.

moreBy using three interlinked relationships, the integrative nature of Regional Management was explained. Based on the principles of the Agenda 21, regional management aims at integrating expectations, interests and contributions from the public sector, from business community and the civil society towards a self-sustained regional development process.
