1 Opening and Introduction

   
1.1 Welcome Address    
The seminar was opened by Thomas Wehinger, one of the two moderators of the seminar. He welcomed all participants on behalf of the German Govern­ment and the Chief executive of InWEnt - Capacity Building International, Germany and specially its department 5 - Environment, Natural Resources and Food.   Wishing all participants a pleasant and successful seminar he then continued to introduce and explain InWEnt as an organisation as well as its context within the German Development Cooperation setting. Further infor­mation - besides the slides on the following pages - were distributed on leaflets among the participants.

 

The team of organisers and mode­r­a­tors that was called upon by InWEnt was also introduced by Thomas:
 
  • Uwe Krappitz as moderator and trainer for seminar contents and moderation methodologies
  • Thomas Wehinger as moderator and trainer for seminar contents and moderation methodologies
  • Jovana Novakovic in charge of seminar organisation
  • Nicole Fritsch being in charge of documenting the procedure and results of the seminar.
