Context of the seminar

Jens Adler
The present seminar on “Regional Marketing: Branding of Products and Regions“ is one in a sequence of events that started in autumn 2002. Based on first conceptual workshops for Regional Rural Development, several trainings and international seminars were organized in 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2006. Always based on the needs and findings of participants of the preceding events, thematic issues were chosen.

In addition, several projects by participants (PP) were initiated on site and supported by InWEnt.

Parallel to this sequence, a high level meeting - The Agricultural Policy Forum - has regularely taken place since 2001. It intends to keep the political decision making level informed and supportive for the RRD process.
