Training of Trainers (TOT)
Dissemination of EMA is the overall goal of the EMA-SEA project. In 2006 and 2007 thirty-two EMA training seminars and twenty company projects will be carried out in the South-East Asian region, conducted by EMA trainers from Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam. To qualify the next generation of South-East Asian EMA experts, three Training of Trainer seminars are conducted in 2006. During the intensive two-week seminar the attendees will be coached to conduct trainings as well as consulting projects on their own. The TOT seminars will therefore put emphasis on soft skills which are necessary to convince managers and to conduct trainings successfully.
Furthermore, TOT participants will widen their EMA scope by dealing with comprehensive EMA topics like sustainability management accounting. Country- and industry-specific training materials will be discussed and developed. The TOT is based on the Project Casework action training approach and consists of group work, lectures, role playing, excursions, software solutions and further interesting training elements. Participation in the EMA advanced computer-based training is a requirement for attending the Training of Trainers.
