EMA training seminars
EMA training seminars are conducted in Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam. South-East Asian EMA experts who participated in Training of Trainer seminars are the trainers of these seminars. The seminars are conducted in your local language.
The three day seminar provides a focused introduction to Environmental Management Accounting (EMA) for companies and related organizations like trade and industry associations, business consultancies, environmental organizations, and academia.
The seminar presents how EMA integrates corporate environmental issues systematically into conventional management accounting and decision-making processes. It enables managers to improve both, corporate financial and environmental performance. Throughout the three days there are opportunities to get familiar with several EMA tools such as material and energy flow accounting, environmental cost accounting, and environmental investment appraisal. South-East Asian company case studies will highlight the importance of EMA for corporate decision-making.
Environmental and financial managers, accountants, and representatives of business related organizations are invited to attend the training seminar. The program lists a fourth day as the consultation day, which the participants can have discussion with the trainers about on-site specific trainings, their company’s specific improvement potentials that can be achieved by using EMA tools, and how EMA experts can assist. There are no financial obligations, i.e. the consultation day is free of charge.
